MUS Review by USAID: sharing experiences

USAID seeks to inform its missions of all past and ongoing MUS related implementation and documentation in the following Feed the Future/Global Water Strategy countries: Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guatemala, Honduras, Kenya, Mali, Nepal, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania, Tajikistan, and Uganda. In order to ensure that all MUS activity is included, please share your experiences in these countries with IWMI (contact Barbara van Koppen at  b.vankoppen@cgiar.org). Questions are:

• What are the past and/or current MUS activities by your organization (technology, management, sustainability, area, scale, livelihood impacts, successes, obstacles, documentation/research)?
• What was/is the view of collaborating government agencies (local government, line agencies) on MUS? Which national policies and legal frameworks were invoked as support or as obstacles?
• Who are the contact persons on MUS (email/telephone) who can be mentioned in the fact sheet?
